Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated by reference into the LearnSpark.io Terms of Service and governs your use of the Service. Your use of the Service is subject to this AUP.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to engage in, foster, or promote illegal, abusive, or irresponsible behavior, including:
- Illegal Activities: Any activity that is illegal under applicable law.
- Harmful Content: Content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
- Infringement of Rights: Infringing the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others.
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk messages or promotions.
- Security Violations: Gaining unauthorized access to any system or network.
- Interference: Interfering with the proper working of the Service or any activities conducted on the Service.
2. Content Standards
You are solely responsible for any and all content you upload, post, or otherwise transmit via the Service. You agree not to post content that:
- Is false, misleading, or inaccurate.
- Is fraudulent or deceptive.
- Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
3. Lesson Recording (Spark Insights)
The Spark Insights feature must only be used for its intended educational purpose: recording a lesson so LearnSpark can generate feedback and personalize the next lesson. You may not use Spark Insights to:
- Record any individual (adult or child) who has not been informed that the session is being recorded.
- Record conversations in violation of any applicable recording, wiretap, all-party consent, or privacy law in your jurisdiction.
- Record a child without the authority of that child's parent or legal guardian.
- Capture conversations that are not part of an educational lesson (e.g., private family discussions, third-party phone calls, workplace conversations).
- Attempt to extract, export, or repurpose recorded audio or transcripts outside the Service in ways that would violate the rights of any participant.
Full recording terms, retention rules, and participant-consent responsibilities are set out in Section 7 of our Terms of Service and Section 3.5 of our Privacy Policy.
4. Enforcement
We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this AUP or misuse of the Service. We may:
- Remove, disable access to, or modify any content or resource that violates this AUP.
- Suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this AUP.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, you agree to immediately notify us and provide us with assistance, as requested, to stop or remedy the violation. To report any violation, please contact us at: [email protected]
